Magazines

Have a look at the new magazines in the Students' Room next to the TV. For example:

Foodie: a magazine all about food and drink in the Midlands. There is an interesting article about a bakery in Banbury. It talks about how the traditional methods of bread-making are dying out and this bakery is trying to maintain them. You can get their bread at the farmers market in Gloucester Green on Thursdays twice a month.

Now: a magazine focussing on style and celebrity gossip. I have to admit, I don't really like magazines like this, but I know some of you do. After all the hype in the press about Britney Spears, you might enjoy reading the interviews with her family and friends.

Q: a music magazine. My interest was caught by the article called "100 ways to get free music"

in Britain: A tourist magazine of Britain. This edition has an article telling what to do in a short break in Oxford. Has some great pictures too.

TV Choice: Just in case you want to know what's on TV next week.

Enjoy reading. If you read something interesting and want to write about it, then I look forward to reading what you have to say.
